We went to Punta Gorda, Florida last week. We had the privilege of meeting up with Tropical Storm Issac.  It brought a lot of rain to the area along with strong winds.  We had fun going all over the area and had great food with a few friends. We met up with Susan and she showed us the wonderful City of Punta Gorda.  We were out in the storm and Susan kept right on going.  I have to give her "The Brave Award" for this year!  Yea Susan!  All joking aside, Susan was a great trooper and she really needs an award for all she did for us.  I would love adding her to my list of "Friends".

We went to the "Fisherman's Village" located on the Peace River.  There are a lot of different shops to wonder in.  It is an open air mall with unique items.  On the second floor were apartments and condominiums.  The artists whom made the jewelry, clay pots, blown glass, and many more,  did an amazing job.  I just couldn't get enough looking in at the time thanks to Issac!
